A plastic improvisation on the theme of the Old Testament book attributed to King Solomon. Minimum of scenery and words — the playing space is strewn with sand, and the figurative language of dance is at its core.
A plastic improvisation on the theme of the Old Testament book attributed to King Solomon. In the Big Puppet Theatre's production there are a minimum of scenery and words: the playing space is strewn with sand, and the figurative language of dance is at its core.
Ecclesiastes is one of the most profound philosophical treatises of antiquity, provoking a search for the meaning of existence in the eternal cycle of days. "What profit has a man from all his labour in which he labours under the sun?" Where is man heading? Is there meaning in his endless race?
A reflection on eternal themes through plastic images and metaphors — the BTK production poses questions and invites the audience to seek answers in the present day.
