The story of the magical journey of brother and sister Tiltil and Mytil in search of the Blue Bird — the second performance in Ruslan Kudashov's humanistic trilogy, featuring 57 puppets of various formats.
The Blue Bird is a story about the magical journey of brother and sister Tiltil and Mytil in search of the legendary Blue Bird.
This is the second performance in Ruslan Kudashov's humanistic trilogy, uniting three famous fairy tales: Carlo Collodi's Pinocchio, Maurice Maeterlinck's The Blue Bird, and Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. The main themes are the principles and values that help us grow up, discover ourselves, and become fully human — alive, happy, and honest.
The show features 57 puppets of various formats: tantamaresque, classic and rod marionettes (including those created with a 3D printer), rod puppets, and various glove puppets.
Based on the play by Maurice Maeterlinck.
